Use Case Step 1: Site Template Import
In Step 1, we measured Lighthouse performance score values for the homepage, right after the installation and site template import and came up with a total score of 77 (take into account that even Google will warn you that these are estimated and may vary).

Use Case Step 3: Activate LiteSpeed Caching plugin
In Step 3, we decided to go a step further and show how Site Booster helps caching plugins do a better job.
Since our test server is a LiteSpeed one, we simply used their free LiteSpeed Caching plugin. After that, we came up with the Lighthouse performance score 99.
Use Case: Additional Info
As already mentioned earlier, the only thing optimization-wise we did is simply add a rule for the homepage using the Plugin Manager Site Booster feature.
Besides that, we also disabled Woo Block scripts from loading on the front (WooCommerce Optimizer), since none of our templates nor pages utilize Woo blocks.
Things we didn’t do – but any website owner / designer would – and which would also help improve performance are:
- Disable unused options via Customize > Performance (like the Widgets script, or unused icon libraries).
- Use the OceanWP’s Local Google Fonts option to load all fonts internally, as well as apply additional font-related boost options, such as preloading.
- Optimize images, especially for mobile devices. Remember, with our templates we serve medium-optimized to give our customers full control in case they want to reuse, edit, crop or optimize images per their liking.
Use Case: Conclusion
Even though the Lighthouse results achieved in this use case are terrific – Site Booster is not an optimization suite that will help you mask scores and achieve only short-term results.
